GENDER: KEYS TO LEADERSHIP, NEGOTIATION AND MANAGEMENT
9/12/2020
For those who are in management focused on local development; working locally carrying out social intervention actions; designing and promoting public policies for the administration of resources in multiple dimensions and managing conflicts in each territory, the gender perspective represents a complex challenge.
In this activity, and based on multisectoral testimonies, we proposed to reflect on different strategies to disarm cultural conditions; to point out the causes that sustain unequal social relations between the genders; how to identify the biases and patterns that perpetuate these imbalances; reviewing the structures on which power hierarchies are based and deconstructing decision-making processes from an egalitarian perspective.
An experience that will surely be very useful to advance in one of the great challenges that we have pending as a society: the incorporation of the gender approach to building a more just and inclusive country.
