Workshops on Negotiation and Gender
Meetings with a theoretical-practical modality
Negotiation is one of the main tools for those who actively participate in the labor market and in the development of an economic activity. Both in and out of the workplace, negotiations occur on a daily basis. In addition, we can affirm that there is no project that does not require arguing, negotiating, and managing situations of potential conflict for its development.
Gender issues have an impact on these processes, posing strong challenges for women who interact in a world in which the rules of the game and meanings have already been instituted by men.
Negotiation in particular is a fertile field to replicate some stereotypes that tend to place women in positions of initial disadvantage and call into question the legitimacy of their aspirations when defending their initiative.
The workshop is a space that fosters empathy among women who are invited to share experiences and together work on the basis of new tools and skills that allow them to become aware and reverse the obstacles that come from gender stereotypes.
