JAPANESE AESTHETIC COURSE - SECOND EDITION 13/9/2016 al 29/9/2016
After the great success of the first edition, Mami Goda invited again to explore the most interesting aspects of Japanese aesthetics. Three unique encounters by the hand of an outstanding specialist in reflection on Japanese art.
The Japanese specialist invited us to explore the Japanese art that is found in cities, houses, gardens, in literature, and that is part of a system where the contingency of experience is offered.
The course offered a small cultural walk through texts, arts, landscaping, architecture is offered, which invited to learn the appearance of the things that occur and are lived in our consciousness in a different way than the western one. Neither before nor now has Japan been for us a school of doctrines, systems or philosophies but a sensitivity (*). Some terms such as emptiness, instant and the darkness, the touch, gestures, will lead us to exercise our own sensitivity to join the experience of this culture itself.
Three one-and-a-half hour meetings in which the most interesting aspects of an ancient culture, whose sense of aesthetics inspires a deeper understanding of it, were discussed.
