EXHIBITION: "WE WANT MILES - MILES DAVIS, THE JAZZ LEGEND"
Conceived by the Cité de la Musique in Paris, the exhibition "We want Miles - Miles Davis, The Jazz Legend" was produced by Foro del Sur in 2011 for the Banco do Brasil Cultural Centre in Rio de Janeiro and at the headquarters of SESC Sao Paulo. To this day, it is considered the most complete sample of the musician’s trajectory. For the occasion, a group of architects and sound engineers developed installations that allowed the public’s "immersion" in their own spaces to enjoy the musical production of Miles. The show included photos with Herbie Hancock, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane and Wayne Shorter, among others; original instruments belonging to Miles and to other musicians who knew him, scores and album covers.
