Monuments of Buenos Aires 1/6/2011 al 1/8/2011
Between June and August of 2011, professor Miguel Angel Muñoz lectured a course that proposed to put in value the monuments of the City of Buenos Aires, and specifically the monumental sculpture which, between the second half of the 19th century and the first of the 20th century, had an undeniable presence in Buenos Aires. These monuments characterize and give value to different areas of our city. This course set out to study its historical development, from the inaugural May Pyramid passing through the great monuments of the First Centennial, until the 1930s and 1940s. This tour also allowed its participants to observe and analyze the different styles and sculptural currents of each era.
