The Foro del Sur Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that, since 1994, has sought to promote diversity and plurality of thought. To achieve these objectives, it carries out a range of activities in research, training, and consulting, aiming to make meaningful contributions to public policies that support Argentina’s international integration while placing particular emphasis and encouraging reflection among young leaders who are taking on prominent roles in the diverse spheres of politics, economics, and culture.
For Foro del Sur, it is fundamental to deconstruct a hegemonic perspective, as reflected in its corporate image, where artist Nicolás García Uriburu draws on the constructivist tradition of inverting the cardinal points.
Located in an iconic neo-Gothic building in the city of Buenos Aires, Foro del Sur's headquarters serve as a key space for advancing democratic practices in response to the major challenges facing contemporary times.
